Cornerstone is located on 40 beautiful acres in rural Henry County, IL. The property includes woods, meadows, rolling hills and 2 ponds with areas to fish, hike, picnic, and enjoy time outdoors.
Our Mission
The mission of Cornerstone Retreat Center (CRC) is to provide peer-to-peer preventative and restorative wellness services and education to 1st responders and their families.
Who We Are
Cornerstone is Connection: We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to serving 1st Responders and their families. CRC exists to provide a safe place for the 1st responder community to connect with one another, to learn, and to recover from the unique stresses inherent of the job--all in a safe, confidential, naturally peaceful environment.
Services
We provide a variety of services aimed to support the 1st Responder Community:
- Support services: peer support, chaplain, critical incident stress debriefings
- Resiliency Education for stress & trauma exposure and wellness workshops
- Events & Retreats (see upcoming events)
- 1st Responder Park (Now open-seasonal)
