Cornerstone is located on 40 beautiful acres in rural Henry County, IL. The property includes woods, meadows, rolling hills and 2 ponds with areas to fish, hike, picnic, and enjoy time outdoors.
Our Mission
The mission of Cornerstone Retreat Center (CRC) is to help first responders live better and serve better. We do this by providing peer-to-peer preventative and restorative wellness services and education to 1st responders and their families. Our 40-Acre retreat center property provides a safe place where healing work can flourish. CRC is more than a place to retreat...it's a lifeline!
Who We Are
Cornerstone is Connection: We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to serving 1st Responders and their families. In addition to providing education and care, the CRC property provides a safe place for the 1st responder community to connect with one another, to learn, and to recover from the unique stresses inherent of the job--all in a safe, confidential, naturally peaceful environment.

We provide a variety of services aimed to support the 1st Responder Community:
- Support services: peer support, chaplain, critical incident stress debriefings

- Resiliency Education for stress & trauma exposure, and wellness workshops
